Are you an animal lover with a genuine passion for providing top-notch care to our furry family members? We are seeking a driven, compassionate Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit team of professionals at Pet Medical Center.
As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission to enhance the lives of pets and their people.

Qualifications:
Position Skills:
Assist our veterinarians during examinations and medical procedures, providing gentle and comforting care to the animals.
Handle and restrain animals with care and professionalism, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Perform routine procedures such as administering vaccinations, taking vital signs, and collecting laboratory samples.
Perform cytology (hematology, urinalysis, ear, fecal).
Proficient in dental prophylaxis Surgical preparation and monitoring of patients under anesthesia Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff membersConduct laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and X-raysMaintain a clean and organized workspace, as well as assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the clinic.
Monitor the well-being of patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly addressing any concerns or changes in condition.
Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and treatment plans, offering guidance and answering questions.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient care, treatment plans, and client communications.
Assist with client check-ins and appointments, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere for both pets and their owners.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, offering guidance on post-treatment care and answering their questions with patience and empathy.
Participate in educational programs and workshops to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine Position Requirements:
Veterinary Technician Licensure Associates Degree in Veterinary TechnologyKnowledge of medical procedures and animal handlingMust possess strong communication skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations, and work with others on a team respectfully Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsA genuine love for animals and a strong sense of empathy towards their needs and emotions.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with both animal patients and their human companions.
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, fostering a harmonious and supportive work environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism.
