Ensure the approved Membership Best Practices are implemented and tracked.
Responsible for ensuring that Sports department is safe and secure at all times.
Attend all YMCA training meetings, special events and staff meetings as requested.
Must uphold and promote the YMCA mission by demonstrating the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility Duties and Responsibilities Supports the Sports Director in all operations of Sports Leagues, programs and classes.
Proficient knowledge in different sports areas such as basketball, volleyball and soccer Ensure Gymnasium and other assigned program space is cleaned and maintained at all times Greet all members and participants; do what's needed to make the customers' experience pleasant Ability to problem solve Ability to coach teams and provide gym security during practices/games Meet and Greet parents Provide Guidance to officials and coaches Perform other duties as assigned.
Work hours will be evenings and weekends, no more than 29 hours worked per week during league dates Mandatory Certifications/Requirements:
The Wellness Center Adult/Youth Sports Site Coordinator must maintain and have current the following credentials and licensure:
First Aid/CPR Certification State Police Criminal Record Check Community Based Knowledge Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; twist; reach; set up ladders and scaffolding.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds.

Work Environment The work environment is generally set in an office location, sometimes are required to be outside.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Travel 15% travel is expected.
